Quality Improvement Coach

Job Summary

Within Healthier Moms and Babies and reporting to the Executive Director, the Quality Improvement Coach implements evidence-based quality improvement projects in Allen County. In an effort to reduce Indiana’s infant mortality, the Quality Improvement Coach uses evidence-based best practices to provide support to child care programs and families to address factors that drive infant mortality rates in Allen County. This support includes materials to ensure safe sleep and other activities, individualized coaching to improve the quality of child care services, linkage to comprehensive services for infants and families and the enhancement of family engagement. The Quality Improvement Coach will utilize community partnerships to provide professional development and materials to child care programs and support the program’s goals of increasing the quality of services to infants and families.


BA/BS Degree, Master’s Degree Preferred· Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Behavioral Science, Social Work or Human Services, Nursing, Early Childhood Education or Education preferred. Minimum of two years’ experience required working with quality improvement projects, as well as adult learners in a coaching, mentoring, and training role. Requires knowledge in early childhood services and excellent typing, word processing, and computer skills. EXCEL, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
