Fun Run 2011

The Indiana University School of Medicine is teaming up with local businesses to support a fantastic local charity: Healthier Moms and Babies. Using the Fort4Fitness venue, we are looking for participants that can help raise awareness and money for this organization. Runners also get the benefit of participating in one of the fastest growing fun runs in the country!

All pledges will benefit Healthier Moms and Babies’ mission to reduce infant mortality and improve the outcome of pregnancy in Allen County by offering health education and case management services to low-income, high-risk pregnant women and their families.

To participate, first register for the Fort4Fitness race of your choice. (The entry fee for each race will increase on 7/16/11.) To reach our goal, we hope that each participant collects $100 in pledges. Please return this form to Healthier Moms and Babies by September 9, 2011 at: Medical Office Bldg Ste 316, 700 Broadway, Fort Wayne, IN 46802; by fax at 260 425 3349, or online at www.healthiermomsandbabies.org. Financial pledges must be received by September 20 to qualify for incentive prizes.

A $10 minimum is required in order to receive a t-shirt to wear in the race. The two top pledge gathers will each win a one night stay at the Fort Wayne Staybridge Hotel, and the next two will each win a one night stay at the Holiday Inn Express.

Rules for Incentive Prizes

The winners of the incentive prizes will be determined by the most amount of money raised and turned in to Healthier Moms and Babies by 9/20/11. Runners will be listed in order of the amount of money raised. If runners raise the same amount of money as another runner, they will be listed in the order they turned in their pledge amount to Healthier Moms and Babies. The number of winners will be determined by the number of incentive prizes available. If more incentives than those listed are collected, they will be awarded in descending order of value.
